When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.
I just stumbled across a beautiful video this morning. It speaks with the language of the world I choose to create. The world where self love, self compassion, the honoring and valuing of the intangible bits rises to meet up with the world that is. I’m not saying one is wrong and one is right. I’m saying we’ve been out of balance to one side for so long. I’m saying my heart aches for the whole world and everyone in it to find their balance, find their own peace. I’m saying I’m committed to radiating, allowing, inviting, encouraging the invisible things like love, compassion, feeling and sensing, intuiting, imagining…being. Always coming back to the deep, conscious breath. I’m saying I’m interested in a gentle, richer, fuller, deeper, more joyful, more meaningful experience. Creating a world where softness is valued, too. One where time and resources are alotted for quiet, for self reflection, awareness. Sweet, intimate moments together, sharing love, sharing of self. Where ease and grace are applauded. One that does not revere busy for the sake of busy.
I know it’s possible because it lives inside of me. I have worked intentionally, diligently, passionately to create my life around these powerful, important yet intangible, unseen things. Fiercely going beyond what is, what has been, out of love for self, desire born out of knowing there’s more, knowing I am more. Moving in a place of knowing that the Universe is not singular. If one can do it, it can be repeated by many. Just think of the ripples. Simply awesome.
There is information at the end of the video. I didn’t explore that. I’m not promoting that. I am offering this video for its beauty, gentleness, kindness and quiet fierceness. These beautiful women beautifully naming and claiming beingness. It felt so resonant to me, I just had to share it. Many blessings.
Here’s the video: Being.

I was given this a few years ago. Not the exact words in the exact sequence, but the essence. It’s distilled down from a reading I had with Barbara With. I felt compelled to share it with you. Before reading this, though, feel into it. Is it for you? My intention is not to foist an agenda on you, only to inspire you if you wish it.
I wish for you…
To know that as you journey ever deeper into you, you are, indeed, becoming “the change”.
An attitude of discovery replaces the near constant mental track that was running in your head. “What did I do wrong that I didn’t see?” Now becomes, “I’m here to see!” You are integrating and healing as you do this work of you. There is an easing into acceptance and surrender to the true self. Calming those anxious and terrified bits. Limiting distractions that cause you to look away from you. Saying no to drama that pulls you into what is not yours. Giving yourself the time you need to relax into you.
To know that this time is all about you.
Creating a life organized around you. The discovering of you. The pampering of you. The taking care of you. Receiving the gift of kindness you show yourself. Testing the limits of how much you can let go. How much you can ease the fluxuation of your thinking. How much you can let yourself feel…and breathe. How much you can laugh at yourself with compassion and gentleness. How much honor you can have for your strength and grace. How much awareness you can have, in every moment, of the impact you have on your inner life and outer life.
To get in touch with the incredibly huge energy that you’ve brought here and accept it.
You, more than ever, are able to hold this space of compassion for yourself, as a envelop of safety, a sacred space of you and for you. Aligning, each day to compassion. To love. Moment by moment, picking up more and more of your power and sovereignty. Opening, by degrees, to this mighty presence that you know that you are.
To be in awe of getting to be who you are.
